Damned Saxo, I thought he'd dropped it into reverse! Looked like he was going backwards and I could just see a look of utter horror on his face as he rapidly became a blue dot on the horizon Just disappeared totally and didn't see him again! LOL Saxowned! Me and a mate followed a lowered Saxo we spotted through town with the hope for a little race out on the A-roads. The crazy fool went for it in traffic and crashed into some poor woman in a Polo We also watched a R5 turbo owner nearly kill himself and the occupants of an oncoming car just so he could say he'd overtaken an Aston

I used to be terrible for road rage. I rememebr chasing a coule of lads in my mk2 escort all over Birmingham for 30 mins cause thed cut me up and given me the finger. I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown! This happened a few times. My health really suffered. I really took things personally on the roads.
Its best to rise above it all. If somones bullying you to get past, let them, let them have their accident all on their own and not involve you. Bottom line is the object of the excercise is to get from A to B without crashing.

Weve probably all been nobheads on the road, I`m no exception, but the best way to look at it is that no-one else can drive for toffee and you`re best off nowhere near them when it kicks off. Especially on NSL roads and motorways, where the stakes are raised a bit, and on motorways its easy to get drawn into silly games as its such a tedious, monotonous thing to be driving on but believe me but if the music stops and you havent got a chair you suddenly realise how fast 75mph is, and you`ve gone from trying to prove a point to being in the middle of an explosion of glass and crunched metal, hoping all the blood isnt coming from a main artery, knowing its game over for your car and wondering if your going home that night.

Me and my mate were travelling to the first retro cars in his 205 MI16 Did he take it down the strip at the show at all? My mate took his Mk1 Astra to Retro Cars and ended up racing an Mi16 powered 205 down the strip and on the way home. Yeah thats it! We didn't gesture to race (we knew we'd be slaughtered) we were trying to let him know we had lost 5th and were having to drive all the way up the country in 4th LOL. That mk1 Astra is LUSH!! We talked to your mate and were both highly impressed by it

Scary story MWF, but one that's not too unusual. Heading towards Welshpool (on the A458 I think it is) a couple of years ago in the uvver 'arf's 240, some prat in an Astra barged out in front of me three times in succession as I tried to overtake him AND the car in front. Anyway, he doesn't seem to notice a bloody big red thing like the OVLOV, so I ast back and let him go. Anyway, after a time he salms on his brakes and drove onto his driveway, so I gave a toot on the horn and continued on my way. Next thing I know he's giving me lights grief and on the 240's back bumper, but thanks to traffic on a roundabout I managed to get away from him. Scared me mind and I'm sorry to say this but what a typical Mark 3 Astra twonk.... If I'd had the beige 240 I took to a couple of the Swansea gatherings I definitely would have stuck it in reverse at the roundabout when he was behind me.

I get problems with divs who just don't think the GT can go round corners as fast as it actually can and get caught out on round-a-bouts.
Going to one of the Norfolk RR evenings, I was cruising down the A11 from Norwich at 'legal' speeds when I started to overtake a Fester Mk3 in the inside lane; as I drew level the twerp floored it....so did I and watched him disappear backwards.....he then tried a run-up to get back past, failed miserably and then shortly afterwards turned off! Aarrrggghhh! What a twonk!

Be careful guys... in local paper a guy has some sort of collision. went home to his girlfriend, got in and two guys bust in through door with metal bars, hits girlfriend round head with metal bar, and batters the guy. he's now in hospital with fractured skull etc. Its a scary unforgiving world, it might not be the collision that hurts. take it easy in ya retros let the idiots get on with it
