Hi All,
I've got a W reg, B5 Passat TDI sport estate with a ATJ engine, I need to move on as I'm emigrating soon. it's got a shade under 150k on the clock, brakes are recent, clutch and dual mass were both done about 30K ago. Heated sport seats work, climatronic, AC all work, full towbar and electrics, dog guard (big metal grate seperating boot from passengers!)
Bad points are that yesterday one of the rear shocks failed, and the turbo probably needs to be cleaned as it'll overboost at low rpm, so I think the vanes are sticking. it's also got a dent in the boot, OS rear wheel arch and a small one on the OS front wheel arch.
Tax is up at the end of November, MOT is early next year (march, but I will check)
I'd like £750 for it

I'm coming back to the UK this week and this is one of the things I need to sort out! going to be listed on ebay but if any of you guys are interested then I'm willing to cut a deal!
PS there's a 2003 triumph speed triple that has to go too!

Just wondering on:
actual length of mot
when was the timing belt done
any issues since the original ad
anything else obvious it would fail a ticket on ie rough tyres,cracked lights etc
Also a realistic price for cash,as while I'm certainly not in a rush for another car this is exactly what I'm after so rather than waste each others time and your ok send me a pm and we'll see what we can do.

It's not be driven since the ad, I have been out of the country! I will check the MOT when I am back on friday, it's May or March this year, but I'm not totally sure which one. There was an advisory on the last mot on the anti-roll bar end links, but was told that it'll get that every year on these, garage said to leave them be. Timing belt was done before I owned it, so before 4 years ago.

Thanks for replying mate, if you can dig the mot length out that would be ace, you can find it online via the v5c if you cant get the cert. Any idea on the mileage the belt was done? sorry for all the q's but I don't want to waste anyones time!!! |
