I knew I had a photo of this Marina somewhere Also,I used to see this Karmann in Camden Town quite often, parked in a petrol station. Managed ot take these snaps once (c.1998) but haven't seen the car for years now. This trio taken at Knebworth in around '96 I think. Anyone we know? And the coolest scrapyard find ever! Any Mancunions remember this one just off Ancoats in the mid- late 90's?

Those pictures were taken a few years apart. The coupe was probably seen in '97 I think. It was built buy a guy from Scotland so rarely made the trip down to any southern shows.

The vehicle details for 894 BVE are:
Date of Liability 01 11 1995 Date of First Registration 26 10 1962 Year of Manufacture Not Available Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1780CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BLUE
Not been taxed since '95 so... At least the number is still allocated to the same car so its not been traded off it and scrapped or bangered. I have a feeling this one could still be out there long dormant maybe.

To be honest if someone did a similar search on my Capri in 2003 they would have found it had been untaxed since Early 2000 and assumed it scrapped, but they would have been very wrong...

Same here with my Starlet, off the road since '98, but it's not dead, just resting until it comes back stronger than ever

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

That marina is cool, you don't see Marina's around here much and I've never seen a coupe ever. I would remove the mirror front lights tho, looks a little tacky IMO. Is this is a Singer Gazelle in the front here? Mega awesome car!
