Is there a photo album or thread for this beach party?! Some of those cars are looking particularly awesome! Sweet drifting as well, I would so love to have been on that trike! I'll try and piece one together later from the various Facebook albums that have cropped up In the last couple of days. ;D

Is there a photo album or thread for this beach party?! Some of those cars are looking particularly awesome! Sweet drifting as well, I would so love to have been on that trike! There wasn't a thread for this particular Beach Party, as the last official one in March was SO popular (200+ cars) that I felt that we were in severe danger of wearing out our welcome. Hence it was sort-of invite only and tacked onto an Area52 Play Weekend. Here then, thanks to various people on Facebook who actually took pictures, are some of the highlights from Sunday. Enjoy. Steve Lacey's V6 RWD T-Bird, Simon Cornish's Sylvia and Brat-Man's daily, a decked Polo wagon (his new ride's en route from the USA as I type, in fact it's due into Felixstowe Docks next Monday.....I know what it is, I've seen it, I've even seen a video of it in action.....but I'm sworn to secrecy). Yup. Sod's Law dictated that the first time we have an UNOFFICIAL Beach Party, the chuffin' burger van turns up. Slammed late Polo looked lovely. Proper Minis run 10"s. I did have a proper heart-in-mouth moment when a few cars ventured down to the water's edge for a photoshoot....I needn't have worried though. Counted them out, counted them all back again. Nice shot. Slammed Mini looked great. Beemer had recieved lows only the night before, in fact it was only finished at about 10am Sunday morning! Another KFW Ebay purchased drifty Lolvo wagon. Unfortunately by the end of the day the engine was a bit....toasted. I think everyone had a go in Chris's Landy over the course of the day. 3.9 V8 sounded glorious. EmDee's Multipla sitting on (in) the sand. 360s gettin' drifty with it. BiAs' Shuttle looks better every time I see it. Steve Hayball's Fugitive at rest. What it was all about. A chilled-out afternoon on the beach with a few mates, a few cars and a lot of craic. And here, just so you remember to mark it in your diaries.....

Some nice shots there. Afraid my camera didn't venture out of the bad all day as I was having too much fun catching up with people and admiring cars. Great day that I'm glad will be happening again 'officially', definitely count me in for next time (and every subsequent time!), hopefully I'll be able to turn up in something interesting one day, especially if the 'rocco goes to plan.

Was a great day - thanks again to Brian for the organisation. Can't wait for the next one - I also hope to have something beach-worthy by then.

EPIC day, hopefully we can keep the amazing vibe going forward (when there are considerably more visitors) and avoid "Brean Damaged"
I'm here all week

Try the veal. Remember to tip your servers. If you're driving don't drink, and if you're drinking don't drive. Thanks for coming, now you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. Thank you.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.
