Hi again, heres a pic of my Bedford CF. spec is... 383 Small Block Chevy, ZF 5 speed, 300mm Mondeo vented discs, Land Rover 4pot calipers. 1000lb Gaz coilovers. Fully floating rear axle fitted with 4.8:1 powrlock lsd, Land rover discs & Granada calipers. Wheel are 16"Diahatsu on re-drilled standard hubs.It used to be an electric van, & the axle was mounted with the pinion flange pointing to the rear, so I had to re-position it the correct way round. whilst I was at it I mounted the axle on top of the leaves to get it as low as possible. Incredibly the axle is a 4HA so a JAG lsd went straight in..result hope you like it

Sliding door CF with a big engine in, and an ex electric one to boot! Lovely stuff! I bet it's got a bit more get up and go with the 383 in rather than a washing machine motor or whatever they put in them. Was there anything left of the electric stuff when you got it?

The CF was always so much better looking than the Transit of its day.

hey thanks for the kind words fellas, it was totally complete apart from the battery pack & the miniature diesel heater (apparently that ended up on a narrow boat).. the electric motor weighed an absolute ton, lord knows how much they must have weighed with the batteries...!!! its all gone in the skip now, i am 95% finished fitting lpg to it. underneath are four gas cylinders (120 litres), but to be honest its more economical than a standard 2.3, however, with our 'fleecing government' just keep racking up the price of fuel I may have to finish the lpg conversion soon

That's a propper sleeper very sleek! I bet it polishes up very nice and gleaming too. Can you get away with the door open on the roads on 'hot summers days'?
More pics!!! please...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
