Well, my Land rover is going again after 8 weeks off the road, I now have the merc 602 2.5 diesel in it! It was a big job but I am really happy so far, not fast, but feels like it will go forever .
Problems so far have been leaks- power steering pump and leak off pipes etc, but my main issue is the exhaust, it is a short home made job with a small box, with the isuzu is sounded ok, but now it is very noisy under load, padestrians stop to look! ;D
I am going to make a new stainless set up soon and follow the factory route, and have got plenty of 50mm tube and a bigger silencer (plus my short one if needed) The question is should I put the silencer in the middle or back, use both and how much does the length effect the final noise?
