	hi guys i am after some heat resistant materials to retrofit some headlights so what heat resistant epoxy should i buy to glue plastic to plastic that will sit right next to the h7 halogen headlight bulbs also is there a good heat resistant filler like p38 but heat resistant also whats the best undercoat and topcoat paint to repaint the silver reflector preferably matt black gunmetal grey eg a darkish colour I'm fitting projector lights so don't need the silver reflector to be silver so fancied a nice fairly dark colour car is maroon cheers dave thanks

	plastic to plastic, cant you use a soldering iron to melt it together? and for heat resistant filler i should think p38 shouldnt be a problem, unless it real high temps then it epoxy chem metal.

	jb weld is pretty good stuff , would imagine it will work very well

	yeah I'd go for JB weld too, I've used it to reduce the inlet ports on a cylinder head and then baked the head in an oven at 250c for a couple of hours..... and several years later the head is still working fine. normal fillers including chemical metal have maximum operating temperatures less than 150C normal car aerosol paints are fine for 100c, but it all depends on how hot things are getting

	PJ1 heat resistant casing paint is great (in my opinion) apart from their satin exhaust stuff which has no body to it, it's what i use on all my motorbike engines now.
