Hi, right I'm putting my 14 up for sale due to impending fatherhood and the fact I can't afford to do what I want to it.
It's a uk manual car, pearl white, Tax till March next year, MOT till January 26th 2013.
I bought it a few months ago off an old guy that had owned it for around 13 years. He used it to drive to Germany for work so it's had a pretty easy life.
It is pretty standard including standard suspension which does need changing as the rear shocks are a bit knackered. I was going to fit Meisters.
All it's got is an air filter, a 3'' decat pipe and 3'' inch cat back exhaust, and the 'pigeon' mod so it flutters and makes cool noises. It's running 10psi of boost. The egr has been blocked off, and I fitted EBC yellow stuff pads with grooved discs on the back. Also had new front pads and both turbo gaskets replaced last month.
It's got standard cloth interior which I prefer to the leather, and the aircon was regassed a couple months ago too as it didn't work when I got it but I got my mates garage to stick some gas in out of curiosity and it worked which was a result. Still got the standard LSD, not welded.
It's not without it's faults.
I bought the car from the old man from Leicester and it suffered hail stone damage. There's loads of shallow little dents on the roof, bonnet and bootlid. They don't really notice too much and if it bothered you it wouldn't take much for a dentmaster type to take the headlining down and massage the ones out the roof.
The rear arches are slightly scabby, the worst being the drivers side rear arch which has bubbled buit its still solid.
The rev counter doesn't work. I had someone have a go at resoldering it but that didn't work so if your worried it could do with a new set of clocks. Common problem on these apparently.
It could do with a set of discs on the front as they are a bit warped, and as I said they rear shocks could do with being changed.
Other than the faults, it is a good base car for someone to put they're own mark on it. It will come with some bits including a brand new Walbro fuel pump to fit, a set of lock spacers, a rear brace that goes across the back of the diff, and new spin-turn handbrake button.
I'm after £1900 ovno. Not really interested in any swaps as I need the money. I'm in Northfleet, Kent.
