A tentative toe in the water so to speak, I only bought the car a few week or so ago, it is a beauty, I have already got a V6 Alfa though so I may sell/swap/p.ex her. Right 1998 3.0 V6 GTV in Vella blue with black momo leather interior, 16" teardrop wheels and Brembo front calipers and a wondrous engine/exhaust note (when I put the 2nd hand middle box back on, now done) She has done approx 94k +change and the belts were done by a recognised shop at 73919 miles. She has an aftermarket air inlet, usual interior bits, working air-con and standard factory rad/cass with boot interchanger, there is a tiny bit of damage to the passenger doorcard, all tyres have good tread (one pretty much new) 6 service stamps, I red, I brown key but no remote plippers, all in all a fantastic car at a great price...    |

I now have the log book and have replaced the middle box of the exhaust, currently i have the drivers side suspension components removed for painting (now stripped and painted, should be back on today) I have been underneath and anywhere that the underseal has failed and there is surface rust has started has been savagely attacked with a drill with a wire brush and scrappers, been rust treated, then hammerite then new underseal.... |

I may have to keep this, someone was coming today to buy it, he did a vehicle check and it came back as cat D in 2004, it could have been something or nothing i do not know, i believed the sales invoice from the dealers that sold the car to the lady i bought it from, they had written 'This vehicle HPI clear' what they mean is no outstanding finance. unless someone wants her for £1100....... |

Reduced to £1000, due to the cat 'D'....i have done some checking, uneconomic to repair in 2004, when I was under her I noticed some light and I do mean light marks at the front and back, now I am guessing here, I suspect a pretty light bump back and front meaning the bumpers and possibly bonnet having to be replaced, hence the cat 'D' The roof could do with a deep cut/polish etc, some clouding;  |
