i'm a big fan of the pro touring look and all for modernising old cars (who realy enjoys the way old cars break alot and don't go where you want them to ) i get alot of my ideas from guys like troy and foose and would love to a: have the cash to build a car like some of theres and b: have the knowhow to build a car likethose guys . the ring brothers who built the have turned out some impressive stuff and i'm sure the roush mustang would goes extreamly well. it is a little over the top but then alot of cars like that are i'm not overly struck by the interior or some of the other little bits around it but overall its a very cool car

It doesn't do anything for me........ I'm not bothered that it does or doesn't
Maestros don't do much for me either but there are a lot of cars on here I like and I love the diversity

I do like overly modded cars like this even if it is perhaps a bit bling. However its a 'dream car' i'd love to have, like that 'Cuda. Ooof but is be so careful with it, or would I? I'm building my 4 to drive and have fun in, and i'd hate to crash or ruin any of em. but once thats outta my system I do yearn for a full on show standard custom car (that I would drive), as much as I have the urge to buy a Marina, OOooffs in different ways.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

chicayne, i kinda love, but it really does crave different paint.
the '32, the fault is is desperately needs to be a candy colour!
and the 'stang, well, i do actually like the bling muscle phase going on, but IMO that ones too much and looks too show orientated for me. i dunno, but putting carbon parts on a stang unless they're for genuine weight saving is just wrong. the car would look so much better if it looked a bit more lightweight, its a classic case of mixing too many styles and not knowing where you've ended up.
'cuda is gorg. look like a 3degrees lock to lock rack so i guess you have to oversteer everywhere. i think because its orange and seems more unpretentious it manages to be very cool. not as cool as a jacked up one but still

the '32, the fault is is desperately needs to be a candy colour! God no! Not unless you swap out the motor for a Cal Custom dressed SBC, swap the wheels for slot mags or AREs, change the banjo rear for a 9", retim it, etc etc. Its a 40s style rod and a very very clever one at that. That paint is perfect for it.

The ammount of money spent on a car has absolutely no bearing on weather its a cool car or not... I dislike inverse car snobbery as much as I dislike car snobbery. Well said.

A 'pro touring' muscle car should look like this. And No, it's not standard.

"creative" is more than following the herd and slapping the biggest wheels possible and fake carbon fibre everywhere.
That Buick features a whole load of very clever tricks and tweaks. And it does so without lookling like the owner ram-raided Halfords in it. Thats creative.
Jack, I'm assuming thats the one with the 500ish BHP LS2 lump in it and the electronic auto trans? I'm still coming to terms with the non-Buick powerplant in a classic Buick musclecar but I think I can forgive him as its so well excecuted.
EDIT: your post with the link came while I was posting this the first time!

It was pushed/trailered to its PHR photo shoot. They even did a section on how they faked the photos to make it look like it moved under its own power.
Maybe it drives now, but I still lay odds on seeing at Barrat Jackson in a year or so with 4 miles on the odo like so many of these high dollar creations.
