I was speaking to my Dad earlier today and he spoke of a Blue 120Y he saw in Horncastle (Lincs). He said it is absolutely imaculate and may be for sale. Probably not cheap though he reckons  It belongs to the son of one of the antiques dealers there. I like the look of that black Celica. I prefer the coupe to the liftback version. |

On the subject of Japness on eBay, this is an oddball. ..  cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2491140839&fromMakeTrack=trueIt's a 1984 Laurel GL which is a model never sold here. We got Laurels like this but never in GL trim with the steel rims and certainly not with a 4 cylinder 2.0L like this has. As it's very early for a C32 model I'd wager this is a car brought in by Nissan UK for type approval testing. I have made an enquiry with a man who has the Nissan UK archive as he'll know for sure. Quite a rare car non the less. Probably pretty economical for a big car too. |

Well waddayaknow...I found out that the Laurel is indeed one of two cars brought into the UK by Nissan for the purposes of homologation! Amazing that it has survived. Shame it's not a more desirable model  |

£70 for the samba
If I had the space (and any cash) I'd get it as a walking spares car for the ZS, all those little things (relays etc) that go wrong. I'd save a mint.

That's just perfect for modifying. Drop in a CA18DET, front struts off a 280ZX and a Celica GT rear axle and you'd have a wicked little car. ;D BTW, a 300ZX engine fits in one of these with no cutting at all  |
