The engine was supposed to be receiving either a set of HS4s or a Weber 40 however all the relevant parts weren't available at the time so the old single HS2 got fitted. This is a fresh built engine with ported head, Kent TH3 camshaft (fast road/rally) and with the relevant induction it should reveal 80hp+

Are these RWD or FWD? I know there were two different types, I think? Are they reliable on long runs?

These are RWD. They are reliable, this has electric ignition so does away with points and condensor so no adjustment needed there, the engines nice and fresh so no worrys there. I'm taking it to Coventry next week, a journey of 200ish miles, no bloody worries ;D

love this car only problem is phoned a classic insurance company today and they wont touch me because I'm under 25 (graham sykes) if anyone could suggest a company that almost always qoute for 19 yr olds then let me know

RH Classic - they usually charge a bit extra for being under 25, but are still cheap anyway. They will probably want you to join an owners club.

Triumph Dolomite club did have a scheme going for members. Not to sure if its still running now, best off reading there forum.
