There seems to be quite a cult following of them in Europe.
Not enough touring car reps for my liking though! Can't go wrong with the white and yellow btcc vectras!

Per lambach can make a mean Opel. He's got a stunning Ascona B and a Zafira GSi too,

That V6 looks delicious, but the chrome show cage is horrible. Also, why is it fully trimmed except for the rear half of the headliner? Surely if you're aiming for a race-spec interior then you have to make a bit more of an effort, it's got leather door trims in the back with no rear seat!
Aside from all that though, the car is spot on. Get rid of the cage and re-instate the rear seats and I'll take it! ;D

Not keen on the interior, but that is a moot point as the rest of the car is stunning!

The dreaded Scra**age Scheme did for SO many Vectra B's....their day will surely come, maybe not quite yet though.
Having said that, that one looks spot-on.

Had 2vec b estates a preface and facelift i loved the preface with its metalic red paint and its gsi kit shame someone forgot to use thier brakes to stop at lights and decided to use theback of my car instead. The facelift i didnt like but it was a dog just a bad car. Ive been tempted to go back to a vec prob a v6 and thier seems to be plenty that have been converted to 3.0 v6s all going for peanuts.

I had a pre face Veccy estate and in V6 guise it was quick, but completely soul-less. Espescially compared to the Carlton Estates I'd had before and have reverted back to.
Typical Mid - late 90's motor IMHO. Does what it's supposed to, no more, no less. Although the age of them now I bet there's less doing what it's supposed to and more sitting broken.
I'm sure the lads of today who are just passing their test will view them with the same fondness we view Cortina's and Mk1 Cavvys. Just not there yet though.

Some of us are still driving a Vec B thinking it is a bit too modern.
Damn reliable beastie though. 120k and only one minor issue which didn't stop it running spot on.

I love my vectra B's Quite happy to see one here in retros, even if it is still a tad too new for some of you guys. That front bumper is a rare Zender one. Only made for the Germans and imoa the best bumper to grace the B, even better than the awesome GSi bumper. Love that engine, 3ltr v6 with the twin TB setup from the omega. Wonder what management its running? I do like the black xenon lights. My B sports the same bumper, and headlights and I'm thinking of doing the same to mine.

I may regret saying this but thats a reasonably tasty car. Neighbor had a diesel one, ran for years on a mix of kerosene and hydraulic oil or just straight agricultural diesel. 200k and still went the best.
Liking the 'airbox' design a lot

Looks awesome. Had a '99 Vectra GSI for a while back in the day, the damn thing was a black-hole of a money pit but it looked great and made an awesome noise!
Always loved how the mirrors blend into the bonnet swage line too.
