time has come to sell this attention grabber, as I'm after something new.
its a 1999 astra G estate. MK4. its got coming up towards 150k miles on it, however, isnt very tappety like other high mile vauxhalls, and is generally clean in the engine bay. The interior is standard with a good cd player and surprisingly good speakers for standard. the drives seat is showing its wear but its not that bad...
It has manual windows and mirrors, no sunroof. power steering, remote central locking and 2 keys. 1 key doesnt work on the button, but does in the locks, its strange because it worked when i first got it, so is probably something minor. The headlights are amazingly bright. maybe too bright. I get flashed at with dipped lights on as people think they are high beams.
Its sat on a set of rare, original Ronal Teddy wheels, which were professionally air brushed. the tyres are all nearing the limit though and will need replacing soon.
The rear arches are rusty. possibly need sorting but due to many amazing stickers, you don't know unless you look lol..
also has a rear tow bar.
The car was stickerd by its previous owner in aid of Brain trauma UK. The chaps wife had a brain tumor, so spurred them on to raise an amazing £4000 on the Barcelona Bangers Ralley. Then I brought it, added a few more stickers, changed the wheels and started getting the car noticed.
It has MOT until I think June 2013, but I will double check this when I find the certificate.
Tax has either just expired or will expire at the end of the month, again, I will check this when i get home.
I am looking for £750 with the wheels, OR £450 with standard steels on the car.
