Despite getting to bed at 4am we still made it up and over to the Phoenix pub meet. We grabbed a space in the front carpark and watched about 200+ cars, bikes and a tractor fill both carparks and the road outside. Heres a a few of the retros that arrived ;D

Whoa! How gorgeous is that Renault 16? Nice day out by the look of things. Much more fun than working in the garden like we have been today.

Just browsed all the pics on your site, even more amazing stuff than I thought at first... the yellow 8 gives me evil thoughts, would it be difficult to install a second engine in the front boot? A few that caught my eye: Interesting... is this a special or factory car? Love this "sorry I crashed into your bike, can I keep it cos this might just work" Reliant. HYA indeed! If I ever win the lottery or accidentally rob a bank:

Not sure what the first car was, the grill was a bit Fraser Nash/BMW ish but didn't get over the road to find out. The last ones a Riley complete with champagne cork stuffed in the starter handle hole

A quick google reveals it to be one of only 22 Bristol Type 402 Drophead Coupés made

Yeah, I thought it would be a Bristol 40something, but somehow it seemed a bit like a modern chop to me...
