VW Bora 2.3 V5
2000 W reg, 112k, MOT March 2013, Tax Feb 2013, some service history and old MOT's.
Non metallic black, Cream leather interior, lowered suspension, 18" Audi replica alloys, Otteinger rear spoiler, pressed metal number plates, PAS, airbags, remote central locking, 6 disc CD, 4x E/w, Climate control, Auto wipers, etc... Also it doesnt have the awful wood effect trim most other V5's have!
This car was top of the range when new and cost approx £20k! It is a reluctant sale as I love this car but I have just got a dog so could do with a hatchback or estate.
The V5 engine sounds brilliant, its very addictive and even after owning it for over 2 years I still love the noise it makes. I am averaging 27-28 MPG at the moment but it does more on a run. It polishes up lovely and always looks smart.
It does have a couple bad points like most cars this age...
Front bumper moulding some laquer peel, and the drivers rear arch could do with repainting but other than a few other scratches and stonechips thats it I think!
Front top mounts creak at low speeds, I was considering getting Polo top mounts to fix this problem and lower the front more
Dash clocks faulty illumination. They work fine during the day, and all the warning lights etc work, but when it gets dark the dials don't light up. I have put up with this for the last 2 years as it doesnt bother me. I have a spare set of clocks to go with the car, they just need programming to the car.
Also the heated seats don't work.
I am after £SOLD!!!. I will consider swaps or px's as this car isnt practical for me any more, I ideally want a Passat estate next but am open to suggestions!
