Ah well I think I have to finally admit defeat with the pop. Madmart on here kindly lent me his pullers and I finally got the drums off. In the manual it says to place an old nut on the end and use the specified tool to withdraw the drums. It doesn't mention you have to BEAT THE EVERLOVING SH!T out of them to get them to budge!!! I got them off but I think I can't do this axle swap in the space I've got in the time I will have to do it and I've got no way to press the dead bush sleeves out. So it's time to admit defeat and I'm going to take it in somewhere. Not sure where yet but I think it might have to be Burnham Autos due to the fact that anyone I know well enough with a trailer lives over that way and I'll be able to get back. I might as well get them to iron out the bugs like the brake lights, get a new screen cut and get it MOT'd at the same time.
Bah. It beat me.
