Funnily enough that bumper isn't for the MX5, its for this little tonka toy The MX5 (can't find the progress photos) was built by that kids dad as a complete one off

As said its a brazillian race car series, I cant work out enough of the language to actualy work out what they are called, but TC comes up quite often. The only thing I know for sure is that I don't know alot about them. Nothing infact, except they look odd.

Yep, they kept building the original 1960 ford falcon into the '90's, late ones having their own awkward '80's facelift.. Though those shown have custom fronts from the racers.

I have to agree with the path the Ford Falcon did through the years in Argentina, but don't say it loud, because there are a lot of fans of it around here. I talked a lot of years ago with the guy involved in most of the later restylings (Jorge Tomadoni) and he confessed Ford never approved a deeper change based on investments and customers. I saw a few designs on paper discarded by Ford, making the Falcon look more like a Granada. The Chevrolet Opala was only built on Brazil, where the Falcon only in Argentina.
