Just a quicky all, does anyone have any experience with mk 3 polo door mirrors? the mrs' car has developed a wobbly mirror and I don't know how to get the plastic cap off the door without it splitting Any one done summink like this b4?

Not a lot of help but I had the same trouble on my mk2 golf, I ended up 'removing' the bit of plastic by brute force and broke all the clips! I'm not sure how they're meant to come off best of luck!!

They almost always break. I'm pretty sure you can get a new one still from the stealers.

A short sharp tug should get it off with more chance of keeping the clips in one piece.
Unbroken Mk2 Golf ones seem to sell pretty well on eBay, I think they are pretty fragile even when undisturbed.

Does yours have the horrible springy spangly adjuster that my Mk2 Polo had? It's impossible not to wreck it when removing the mirror. If it's the passenger side just rip it off and chuck it.
