whats the mentality of people nicking cars? my 100e got nicked last night and ended up on the green 100 yards away from where i left it, judging by the skid marks on the grass they must have been driving it around for a good couple of hours then to top it off they've torched it  f ucking thieving little sh1ts. what annoys me most is ive just got it all done moted and taxed and ready to use after a couple of years. theres houses all around the green, do you think anyone saw anything did they f. surely a side valve pop would have woken someone up being screamed about a field practically outside there front door? anyhow sorry for the profanity riddled rant just I'm well and don't get the point of nicking someones car and doing that to it |

my sympathies mate,don't beat yourself up trying to figure out scum,you can't and you never will.i've spent the last two weeks trying to work it out and could only come to the conclusion that they are thieving retards with nowt better to do.

I know you feel,I posted some pics of a merc I wanted to buy ,only to have it vandalised in one our city's largest shopping centers.No one saw anything....
I for one am not scared of any little dipstick vandal , unlike the rest of the sheep here who feel initimdated by groups of yoofs.
I spent some time in eastern europe after the fall of the soviet union so I know real as'oles when i see them.The type of illbred spawn of satan who burns others property does'nt rate against them.
I'll bet you will find a pic ot two of your burning car on some vandals masturbation web site ....

thankyou for the kind comments, ive only seen it in the dark its completely gutted between the a to c posts and some spares in the boot have melted and either the roof has been jumped on or the heat has distorted it. any ideas if the shells metal work would have been softened at all? as ive got a set of glass and some trimming spare, and a spare loom.

Heat can soften metal so the bodywork could well have suffered.

Just saw the car about an hour ago as Mart was loading it off the truck. They torched it good and proper, not much left inside but the engine looks like it survived, front and back axles look ok. Roof is a bit distorted but might beat out and fill. Was gutted when I saw it, absolutely gutted for you Mart.
Really can't see the mentality of nicking something like that to joyride and torch.

hopefully it can all be sorted if the engines ok... at least put it all into another frame if need be. thats really sick, and although i would go to the police first i would also see what non-courtworthy evidence you can dig up and then see about it yourself. of course, don't dish out violence though because the scums friends will have the police on you within 1.669 seconds and you'll go down!

I don't know how handy you are with bodywork but if there is any structural grief to the shell it might be worth letting an independant body specialist who works with old a cars a bit have a look at it. It can be quite surprising how easily and cheaply sorted these things can be. (Obviously be prepared for the worst)
Then we just need the scrotes that did this to be torched, face first.
