washed the mazda today and noticed that the wheels are as rough as buttholes. the rear ones are all smooth and lovely mostly but the front one is real bumpy and horrible. sort of like when paint bubbles. anyone know how much wheels cost to have refurbed (assume the worst about the wheels, its best to over budget )? how is it done?

When I spanked one of my (17 inch) wheels it cost £50 to have a section of it refurbed - it was pretty bad. That was from a local chipsaway dealer. From what I've heard their work varies depending on who your local rep is.
Another awesome place is Rochford tyres in essex and spit n polish in kent both way too far for you and they charge about the same.

Try SpeedShack, they're not far away from you and have a good reputation.

Have you considered having a crack at it yourself? Its a lot of sandng and prepping, but as long as you can colour match the silver, you can save yourself a bundle. An exersise in time over money, so to speak.
