Whats this off then? All alloy GM cooling fan: I picked it up in my mates back garden ages ago. At the time I was looking for a salution to my Rover P6 overheating problems so I took it home and strapped it to the front of the rad in place of the fixed fan (which worked very well!) My mate was always messing around with Astra GTE's and Cav SRi's so I reckon it could be from one of them. But for all the scavenging i've done down the scrapyards over the years I haven't seen another all alloy one. Is it anything rare or owt?

I don't know what it's off, but it looks ace and would make a great 'period' looking mod over something plastic based. Could it be American in origin if it's GM stamped?

Is it not just one that someone has stripped the paint off and polished perhaps?

Cheers gents Yeah I thought it would look good on something old enough to not want plastic modern parts but bieng converted to a leccy fan. When I got it I polished the bejeesus out of it and put it on my P6, it looked ace poking through the grille! I'll polish it back up again, stick some laquer on it and then either use it on something or flog it
