I know Fiat Multipla has easy remove seats, and they are 3 abreast, which might be good for a van. Lots are being broken, but the seat material isn't the toughest, so a retrim might be necessary. I'm sure there are lots of other cars with removable seats too...

Realistically I'm looking for the seat mountings or rails rather than the seats themselves, I'll be adapting some comfy seats from something - probably cream Jeep Cherokee seats!
Had forgotten about the Multiplas tho, I'll check them out, ta.

You might be best looking at Unwin or Koller tracking. www.unwin-safety.com/www.koller.co.uk/indexIt can often be found on mini busses being broken. With the appropriate fixings you can them make any seat removable / slideable thus not limiting yourself to MPV items. For my van I have the low porfile UniStut channel but that means using a spanner to undo seats for removal or adjustment. www.unistrut.co.uk/index.php?part=P3300&M1=Support Systems&M2=Single and Double Channel Paul H Paul H

A couple of bolts to remove each seat is more than acceptable, especially as they'll be easily accessible from inside. Thanks very much Paul

Unwin or Koller tracking. +1 The Multipla rear seats probably arent the best for you. They do slide a bit and are dead easy to remove but the plastic is brittle, the runners would not be easy to relocate and they have given me grief in the past (and nearly broken my nose). The Unwin/Koller option would be way better.

I've got the 5 individual rear seats out of a '93 Renault Espace I'm scrapping. They are in a greyish patterned coth material. They fit into the floor with a spring loaded hook arrangement that locates on bars across slots in the floor. Handles front & back quickly release them. You can have them if you want to collect them from Chesterfield... I need the space. Mick

Earlier model Shalambraxy's are quite adjustable and removeable, but the mounts are sunk into the floor so might not be the easiest to install.

photo from the Espace I'm running. Seats in scrapper are the same, no tears but maybe a bit grubbier. They fold down into a table and original fittings have 2 positions. I'm scrapping the car for its mechanicals and will use the shell as a 'shed' for parts so the seats are surplus. Not sure how the 'runners' are fixed in the floor but you're welcome to get them out to go with the seats. Mick
