Porsche: This guy is from Iceland and owns various cool rides. Dirtyharry: Maybe you just pick a standard Porsche colour. Dead stock Trannys are getting more and more expensive these days. Either you try to make it a tidy car and make some money with it or you slam it down as much a possible, ignore the paint job and ride it 'til your oilpan is gone.

i think I'm going to stick with red but maybe just a brigter shade, i tried some paint i had kicking about from a opel gt i once had, just on the headlight cover and i think it will be good for the porsche,
next i need to think about the interior, its a real state, i can live with the cracks on the dash, but i need new seats, and people want silly money for 944 and 924 seats! any cheaper alternatives that will look ok in the car?

Dude please stick with OEM, these cars deserve to be sympathetically modified/restored! Do you have an oval dash model? The seats are not too expensive, try these guys for bits: www.phsportscars.co.uk/D90s are £250 shod with good tyres as an example of pricing. Interior and trim bits are pence, and they have several blown '24s breaking for spares.

There's a dashboard cover available which fits pretty well and is quite cheap. Have on on my 924 as well. Probably the easiest way to xi that issue. Porsche: For the Icelandic 924 you've gotta go to Stance Works forum. There was a thread for this car, a year ago.

The guy from iceland (F2) does drifing in a 944, and all the best cars ive seen belong to him.
The dash top is available from porsche shop for just over £100. it just bonds to the original. I fitted a few and they look good.
I went with a customer to veiw the car you bought, it went well and was fairly solid. My customer cannot do work himself so i advised him to buy a better car for a higher budget, though if you can paint it yourself and find trim its a good purchase. I am breaking 2 924s and one has a dark interior if you want to go that route, driver seat is not good though.
I look after a lot of 924/944 now if you need parts or advice send a pm.

well today me and a friend inspected the paintwork, and decided i will keep it as it is, and fix the edges of the car where the paint is flaking as it will be easy to blend.
will kepp the wheels as they are, I'm just thinking about lowering it with a proper shock and spring set up as i can get one for pennies through my job....
I just need to decide if i mod the exterior at all now.

I hope they're paying for the damage? I'd get that thing locked up in a garage sharpish if I was you. (Or move to a nicer area).
