I bought Trev recently from MrScruff on autoshite, mostly to help with my garage build, but also because, well what is another vehicle going to hurt? The original sale thread is here, it gives a good insight to Trev in general: www.autoshite.co.uk/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14111
The mot has 11months to run, the tax is due at the end of this month.
Since buying Trev, I have put 2 part worn Michelins on the front, as well as a pair of new front arms, along with some Halfords curse word side repeaters I found in the garage, which resulted in another year's ticket being bestowed upon him. The total outlay was about £70 in parts.
Also after having tooled around on some of the hottest days of the year in him, I decided I would have to do something about the lack of any sort of ventilation, so I acquired a second hand window regulator and channel from probably the rustiest Visa in the world. All this plus a better nick if slightly ill fitting grille landed for £40
Also I removed, cleaned and rebuilt the heater fan, and it now works on both speed settings.
Lastly, Trev developed a bit of incontinence during his stay with me, which I eventually traced to the sump having rotted out. I know, a vessel filled with a substance know for it's rust prohibitive qualities and it still manages to rot? Only the french.
Anyhow I replaced that too, along with a new sump gasket, fresh oil and filter.
I'm asking for £400 for Trev, no offers please.
