Time has come to sell my 306 TD GLX. 1.9 TD as I'm now doing a longer commute than I was and fancy something different after 6.5years! in Welwyn Garden City.
I fitted a replacement gearbox and new clutch this year. Cambelt changed originally at ~60k and I have a new cambelt kit to go on but have not got around to it yet.
I've owned the car since April 2006 when I bought it on 38k (2owners before me, the recent being an old woman who died). It has now clocked up to 153k (always wanted to get it to 150k for some reason - hopefully someone can take it to 200k) and has NEVER broke down. Mostly motorway miles as I used it to travel 70miles to work every day for 6 years. Just completed (July) 2000miles in France without any problem at all.
I've serviced it myself every 6k (oil change + filter) and changed fuel/air filters, brakes etc. as needed. Fitted the HDI brakes (was offered some cheap a couple of years ago) - replaced caliper seals and pistons at time of fitting. Gearbox has fresh oil in it.

Bad Points
Leak from radiator, had used radweld which stopped it for a while but think it needs replacing really. Still using the car to drive 80miles everyday but need to top up regularly. About £50 for new rad.
Aircon stopped working 3 years ago - never been regassed so no reason to suspect it doesn't just need re-gassing. Clutch just stopped engaging.
Slight rumble from nearside front bearing - have driven many k's since it started and drives fine.
Has 6m tax on it but not included - buyer can buy from me.
MOT until 21st September (no reason that I know of why it would fail)
