the chevette was in for mot today, failed on
no wing mirror- knew
blowing exhaust - knew
and hazzard light flasher unit f888ed - didnt know
now for the questions first of all,where would i get a centre back box, ?
also is there any better way of uploading photos bar photobucket? ive got loads of the chevette but they wont upload, there 8.1 megapixel if that helps,
and does any one make replica manta 400 mirrors?
answers will be greatly appreciated

Can't really help on the chevette bits, but on the photo's if they are 8.1 megapixel at full resolution they will be enormous and photobucket won't cope with uploading them. TBH for web use anything over 2 megapixel is only going to get resized anyway. Use a graphics program to resize them - microsoft office includes a program called Picture Manager which good resizing.

As regards the exhaust, have you tried your local motor factors (rather than crappy accessory shops)? Failing that parts direct in Derby have an older cars division who've come up trumps for me once or twice. www.carparts-direct.co.uk/ |

try and find a local exhuast place, i noticed a couple near me recently that make custom exhausts, might be worth trying somewhere like that

Motor factors should be able to get an exhaust for you. I got an exhaust back box for my 82 Accord last month without issue, cost 50 quid trade though.
My car was also in for the MOT today. Failed on 2 tyres - not worn but tread coming away from inner casing!!! Also one screen washer (forgot to fix) & also failed emmisions as firing on 2 cylinders - they flooded it & couldn't get it to run right. I went up & got it running fine in 3 minutes. They didn't seem to understand how a manual choke works?

A dedicated exhaust place should be able to help, I`ve had to get exhausts for one or two oddballs/ancients in and amongst the Corsas and Mondeos and its never been an issue.
