As ive had nothing but bother trying to sell my mark 1 jetta and I'm a firm believer in that everything happens for a reason, I'm going to keep the old girl! 
So I'm going to have my 15'' compomotive wheels painted in anthrasite and buy a shocks and springs set to lower 60mm.
Ideally i would love to put coilovers on it but I'm on abit of a budget at the mo so the lowering kit it is for now. Here's a couple of pics...
