great fun little car but just got too many now and something has got to go and this s more fun than useful so off it goes.
Vauxhall Corsa Sport fitted with a C20XE engine.
Registered in late July 2000 this car was originally a 1.6 sport finished in the best colour – Arden Blue.
At some point in it's life it has been fitted with a 2.0 16v engine, the acclaimed C20XE. All done properly and correctly registered as such.
I have had this for a few months as a fun runabout (funabout?) whilst doing some work on my other car.
It has
MOT till december
C20XE engine (mileage unknown but goes very well)
Big block drivshafts and hubs (for extra strength)
no ticking from cold as common on these engines
MASSIVE front brakes from a cavalier
Decat exhaust
4-2-1 tubular exhaust manifold
K&N style cone filter
Adjustable FK coilover suspension
non sunroof shell – stronger & lighter
Chipped ECU for more power!
Remote central locking
Delocked doors
Electric windows
colour coded arches/door handles/side strips/scuttle
has been resprayed at some point I would say, very well and well looked after.
Blue headlining (looks much better than it sounds)
Despite the performance this car is amazing on fuel, even with spirited driving it returns in excess of 30mpg. Over 40mpg on a run is achievable with ease if you are steady and resist the temptation to embarrass much more expensive cars.
The acceleration in this car is astounding and it stops even better.
0-60 is around 6.4 according to my g-meter thing.
Top speed is more than I am willing to do!
Car will come with black Vauxhall cesaro alloy wheels fitted with good 195/45 15 tyres all round, sadly there are no centre caps.
There are some bad points as with any used car...
small rust patch on tailgate.
Speedo not working (think it is the pick up – I have tried another cluster to no avail)
few chips in paint here and there but overall very good for age.
Exhaust is loose and will need sorting soon
Nsf cv joint is starting to knock so will need doing at some point
no pas, never bothered me as gives more feel.
No stereo (never bothered me as the engine is music enough)
I was going to strip this out and put some bucket seats/harnesses/cage etc and have some track fun in it but realistically I can't see me having the time anytime soon.

black cesaro alloys with decent tyres will be fitted.
