Just thought I would let you good folks on here see this, its my daily driver and I love it to bits, its a 1.3 309 peugeot style, only had it a month or so have had 309s in the past and just love em, its 1 of 6 styles on a f plate, making it a bit of a rare beast, totaly original never been welded or rebuilt or painted, I refurbed the alloys from silver to white, other plans are to drop the front a bit. have fitted a gti boot spoiler, but not yet pictured, not the lip spoiler in picture, have left that on aswell, also fitted a wood steering wheel, for that touch of style, and apart from that I like it, will post more pics soon thanks for looking

Nice to see there some 309's still around haven't seen a earlier 309 especially a 3dr version for along time. The GTI 1.9 alloys in white suit it really well. All the best with it.

In the mid Nineties, when I was an apprentice the guy I worked with was given a rough old silver 309 diesel by his father in law. He used to joke about driving it until it died!
Fast forward a few years, we spoke last year. He is group service director for Murray motor company in Edinburgh (who are the local dealers for Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Lotus etc.) Surrounded by all these luxobarges I joked about his Peugeot 309. He looked straight at me, without smiling and ushered me out the back, surrounded by cars worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, is that bloody 309! 'I'm not paying £1000 a year company car tax when that thing is still running!' he exclaimed! It has metallic red front wings and a few more random spots of red oxide but its the same car! Touch over 274,000 miles on the clock and it still needs the odd spray of easy start if its frosty.

OK I get it - sorry chap but stuff sinks fast on here and you can be on page 20 in a blink of an eye but if you haven't got any updates then please don't bump the thread - it's not a for sale thread
