Cheers It is indeed a 3dr cossie bumper painted to match the kit. Another option is to spray the whole kit to match the car like the Janspeed Turbo XR4is. Prefer the black bumpers. What paint did you use? Is it texturised? I get asked this a lot and I'm afraid I don't have a very good answer. I didn't attempt to paint mine myself and took it straight to a classic car restorers. They actually called a guy in specially to paint it and all this guy did for a job was paint textured Ford bumpers I can tell you that some XR4i's have different greys, some are really dark like mine and others are quite light. I would think, with some patience, you could spray up the whole kit pretty nicely with bumper paint.

Well its just a case of selling my Golf and finding a reasonable XR4i now, is it unreasonable of me to expect to find a "decentish" one for around 600? Thank you all for wrecking my life... with crazy fuel bills You should be able to get a decent one for £600 however you may find the wait a bit too long. Most 4i's I see for sale are in very poor nick and due to low second hand value a lot of the good ones are kept close to the owners chests. They are also getting a bit of attention now because they are cheap and rwd.
