how can anything be better than the A team!!!!!!! ;D Because they did the same crash with a jeep every week - it gets hit by a bullet just as it runs over a bush and then spirals through the air landing on its roll cage then bounces over to face backwards on its wheels again. Apparently the first series of Hardcastle & McCormick used a VW based car, later series used a DeLorean based car

Quote- I am tired of listing this business on ebay... It costs me $50.00 everytime... $300.00 per month to store it at a public storage facility...I paid $17,000.00 for the business...plus $7,000.00 to import the stuff from England... I'm not into giving this stuff away... With rent and everything else... I am still loosing money if I sell it at the reserve of $25,000.00 ....So ask yourself "Do I want to build M6 replicas and compete with the endless amounts of Cobra builders... " .... If the answer is YES... then bid $25,000.00 and face up to it!!! I will cut the stuff up and burn it before I lower the reserve.... Think the bloke regrets his "investment" ;D ;D ;D

Those M6s are, along with the Chevron B8 and Porsche 917, the best looking race cars evAr IMO

Oh, I remember this show. What really amused us was the guys nickname of "skidmark" which we thought was very funny when were like 10 for some reason...
Didn't realise that Coyote was based on a replica of anything in particular, just thought it was some old kit car.
This is another one of those shows that I always thought I was the only person who remembered them!
A-Team, well, it was OK but it was a bit silly. Even as a kid I knew it was stupid.

alistairk has just taken the words out of my mouth. I wondered what car it was too, but it looked cool. And the programme was at least vaguely feasible which set it apart from many other similar shows.
This man can't be allowed to cut the stuff up and burn it though!

For a while all the shows were "someone and someoneelse" weren't they? Prefferably with two people as ill suited to each other as possible "but when they work as a team..." blah blah
I blame Laverne & Shirley as much as Cagney & Lacy...
Whatabout
BJ & The Bear (another title that made us laugh when we were young and purile) Freebie & The Bean
or my favourites
Starsky & Hutch The Rockford Files Hawaii 5-0, book 'em Danno!

Not a double act,but anyone remember "Vegas"? Yep! Robert Urich... He kept it in his living room or something weird! There was another programme he was in too, driving a Mustang I think(?), his sidekick was a big black fella who went on to be in Star Trek (I think?) who drove around in a white, bodykitted, pimped up BMW 6 series ;D

I must admit though I did watch the A-Team, knight rider etc, but the gritty realism of the Professionals and the Sweeney always did it for me. Something hugely satisfying about watching cars NOT blowing up with pyrotechnics and no casualities....
