Anyone remember Automan, produced by the same bloke who did Tron... ..and what was his car that he did 45 degree turns in and talked to traffic lights (who always replied in sultry female voices ;D), i cant seem to find a better pic... ..any ideas?

I think it would be really funny if the guy cut everything up and burnt it. I don't know why, it just would. It sounds like he`s pretty close to the edge so it could become a reality anyway.
Could the VW based car from iconic smash TV show that everyone remembers in minute detail "Hardcastle & McCormick" (who the hell are Hardcastle & McCormick? A couple of opticians?) be somehow related to the one in billion dollar blockbuster ensemble cast epic "Condor Man"? I think that one was called a Nova in real life.
I don't know there was all sorts of weird stuff around in the states at that time, what about that odd ball from the original Gone in 60 seconds? What the hell was that?

I remember Automan! Vaguely! Looks like a Countash LP400 replica with some neon tubing skillfully applied.

Most memorable bit in Condorman for me was the 3 black flatnose 911 replicas being destroyed in a chase.

Condorman was a laugh, I noticed how all the Black 911s got trashed but the 935 style flat fronted one (930 turbo?) survived. It was probably quite new and the black ones were probably 10 year old 912s or something.

There was another programme he was in too, driving a Mustang I think(?), his sidekick was a big black fella who went on to be in Star Trek (I think?) who drove around in a white, bodykitted, pimped up BMW 6 series ;D Spenser: For Hire ? Indeedy ;D
