I've got a new daily, a little K reg Peugeot 106. I know its not the coolest of cars, but what can be done to give it a little attitude without going down the barryboy path? As it is now. The one thing I can think of to make it cool! (I've got a tin of Nato green lying around too) Any cool wheels you can think of that fit on? Any help at all? I need all I can get ha ha!

Is it four stud? If so, wide black Wellers, slam, and the Nato green will have you sorted easily.

Looks good, but paint the bumpers too and fit 15" steels from a 406 (black, of course!) with ultra low profiles...

I believe those wheels are three studs. Keep an eye out on ebay, three studs fors 106's and Citroen AX's go fairly often.

I have a 106 Graduate with an XSi engine that Mankee and I fitted (99% of work done by the former- I tightened a few bolts and whinged that it was cold as it was last winter). It's just sitting in my garage if you want any of the parts to do your own swap as I 'successfully' sold it on eBay a couple of times only for the buyers never to turn up.
Possibly of more interest to you is that I have some 14" 3 stud AX GT-style wheels that I would be happy to part out if you're interested. All on decent Goodyear tyres but one seems to have a slow puncture but if you're interested drop me a PM.
Happy to sell the whole thing as I would love the garage space back but in the end I just gave up and stuck it in the garage as it's only worth a few hundred quid.
Hope I'm not flaunting the forum rules btw!

in answer to Q- no! lol of course! I had a white 5 door xnd grad for a while there. cool little car, riding on bumpstops and not by choice either lol! they love being low, with that I would get the ax rims and absolutely DUMP it in the weeds, exhaust scraping on flat level tarmac low. keep it that colour, but if you go sleeper route, paint offside rear door white! if you don't go sleeper route, a barry-parry (copyrighted!) would be class. ill-fitting saxo vts "wide"(rolleyes) arches, neon exhaust tip etc or nato green with black wheels, not up on that idea as its not quite a suitable barge but sure have a go anyway!
ohh! ohh! fun idea! gendarmerie!

Thanks, loads of ideas! Do AX wheels fit straight on then? I loved the idea of a Voiture de Gendarmerie, until I saw one! Hardly the most dynamic of cop cars are they?! Polizei look a bit better though. I would like to slam it on the floor, but thats probably above my level of "expertise" ha ha! keithyboy, I've already got two projects, a Fiat 126 in my garage and MK1 Golf on my drive. I have no mechanical knowledge what so ever, so they're gonna stay just as they are until someone buys 'em off me ha ha!
