hi there guys just acquired this motor I have no reason for a second car so offering it out really Alfa romeo 156 2.4JTD tax till the end of Aug mot till Feb 2013 (no advisories on last test) 138k 150bhp no idea what their worth so the price is negotiable selling because I don't need two cars and I need 4 tyres for my car and could do with giving a service so ideally would like enough to cover these items anyway it's a 2.4 v6 diseasel, aircon is ice cool gorgeous leather interior with only minor minor wear on the driver seat and I mean minimal body work is average small dink on the front from the previous. main area of attention the brakes need bleeding really small amount of use then you get a pedal as the pedal goes to the floor then it's there the electric windows are random sometimes they work sometimes they don't possibly needs a new battery as the car was sat for a while before I got it waiting for the v5 to come through drives really nicely, it appears there's no smoke which would suggest the turbo is in good health. the car is in Kempston (mk42) viewing welcome but it is at my better halfs house I'll they to answer any questions this is the sort of car you buy it to drive it if it mots again bonus if it don't you could split it and get you money back I also on have two pics sorry john 07765818271

1 - Auto or Manual ?
2 - Which diesel pump does this have ?
3 - Any idea if it needs a Cambelt soonish ?
4 - How many keys do you have for it ?

Nice car. Pretty sure these are a 5-pot rather than a V6 though - I had a Fiat Marea with a 2.4 JTD a few years back and that was a 5. Sounded gorgeous for a diesel though, and went like the clappers.

thats not technically true as its a diesel lol, but thats one reason I do want to own an alfa one day. But I'd like to know I've got deep enough pockets in case something got expensive. Do the JTD's have any common faults?
