	2138cc Standard Ensign DeLuxe. (For the uninitiated this is the same engine as the TR4A, but with milder head, cam, & carb). Goes well, very torquey. Totally dependable, I've towed a small vintage caravan all over the place with no issues. Electric fuel pump has cured the fuel vaporisation issues. Won't win any shows but is tidy and presentable. Has it's share of blisters, rust, and touched in areas but is solid. Taxed and has recently passed it's MoT. There was an advisory for the RH lower trunnion having fore/aft play, this sometimes gives a clonk when changing from forward to reverse of vice-versa. Drives very well, engine and transmission both superb, no smoke and burns no oil. I am only selling due to the near completion of a long term Cadillac project that requires space and cash. £1,900 or near offer. I'm in North Staffordshire

	These were taken 10 mins ago. Also has it's original starting handle that works well. Had it running on really hot days without overheating so all in good order.

	Thanks, hard to find something with enough grunt to pull a caravan that doesn't also cost the earth. All the rivals are now very expensive, Cresta, Velox, Zephyr, Zodiac, BMC 6's etc. Also all the rest are 6-cylinders and consequently thirsty, this car is remarkably good on fuel. There is nothing else with a 2.2 4-pot really. All other period 4-pots (Victor/Consul/A60 etc) are not powerful enough really. That's why I came to buy this in the first place!

	I don't, but can take pics of whatever you'd like to see. What info would you like? The info in the first post about sums it up. The windscreen leaks at the left hand lower corner, the speedo is a little 'lazy', but I have sourced a brand new one.

	Rear arches are presentable but a little crispy. Headlining is complete without rips but has been painted (looks okay). Boot floor very sound. I had a large welding job done a couple of years ago in the boot floor area and it burnt the paint of the back end above the bumper. It's all solid now but the touched in area is a slightly lighter shade. You can see this one the back-end shot in my driveway. Bubbling to corners of door bottoms, front wings around sidelights and around boot lid hinges. The bodywork is tidy and presentable but needs attention and a re-spray really.

	Love the old mk1 Consul......identical colour to the one my dad, god rest his soul, had in the mid 60's.....many happy memories of mum, dad, me and my siblings trundling off on holidays. Thanks for the memories......do you have any more piccies of it?
