So, here is a Fiat Punto I took in part exchange a few weeks ago with no MOT. I had it tested, and replaced the exhaust front pipe and 4 small patches of welding. After this, it was passed without any advisories.
Being the HLX, it is a good spec with nice velour seats, Air Con, electric windows and sunroof. Central locking on the key, but only 1 key.
First time starter with no issues. I`ve driven it for about 100 miles, and all is well with the engine, gearbox, steering, brakes and clutch.
Bodywork is OK, but not perfect. It looks better from a distance, when when looking round there are a few dents, scuffs, scratches and a couple of areas where the laquer is peeling. Alloys are in good order, and all 4 tyres have plenty of tread.
Interior is all good. The dash has the airbag light on at all times, and the needle on the fuel gauge always remains on half. However, the light works, so no risk of running out.
