This is my mom's car. 1.9 turbo diesel. The tax & mot have just ran out. It has done about 115K miles from memory. The cam & fuel pump belts were replaced 3 years ago at 90K miles. It is a silver 5 door model. It has 4 good tyres + 3 more on rims to go with the car.
It starts & runs lovely from cold but if you switch it off when the engine is warm it takes a while to get it started again. She doesn't have the money to get it fixed & has now broke her ankle so it will be a few months before she can drive again anyway. I don't have the time to look at it so if anyone thinks they know what the problem might be then this could be a quick fix/cheap run around for someone. It drives fine, gears all fine, all speeds work on the fan as I repaired the resistors. I also fitted a new windscreen last year (it's my job).
All I can think of that needs doing for mot is the hand brake sometimes sticks on if the car is parked for more than a few weeks. That's it. There is a scuff on the back bumper & one on the front & 1 or 2 rust spots on the doors but it's not bad at all for the age.
Car is in Stratford on Avon at the moment but I can get it to Redditch if that helps?
