Just wanted to say thank you to all the guys who ran in the hill climb yesterday, was great to see you all enjoy yourselfs and we didn't have to tell anyone off which was good. bit gutted i only managed half a run up the hill in my beetle before i broke a half shaft, 6 years of racing and have not broken one even with over a 100 runs at santa pod and all the hill climb/sprint events i have done. If any one managed to get any action shots of my bug before i broke it, i would love to see them. hope you all enjoyed the hill climb and see you next year for more of the same.

It sounded great and looked quick as it launched. What motor is it?

I was sad to see it jacked up for the rest of the day, so i took my casual speeded bug up the hill to keep the side up

good to see someone hillclimbing a beetle we saw one down in eschdorf earlier in the year and it was impressive! didnt get to see your bit of a run but i bet you broke the shaft at pardon? keep up the good work was great to get 3 runs up the hill in the afternoon courtesy of my good friend paul coltech in his green jetta. its alot easier to rag someone else's car to put the price into perspective a bit the last time I did a proper hillclimb at prescott was about 94 I think and back then it it was about £120 to enter for 2 practice and 2 competetive runs. although it wasn't timed (of course we couldn't tell from the incar video lol) it was amazing value and great fun. thank you all very very much now I better finish one of my cars to repay the favour

entries for prescott (If you can get one) are over the £120 IIR Rob usd to compete but lack of funds have stopped him for a couple of years now getting in at Prescott is hard
