Here is my Honda Accord 2.0 es Auto, the car is an ES model and in its day was the top spec.
The car benefits from
full leather trim
automatic gearbox
electric windows x4 & all working
electric sunroof also working
remote central locking (rear offside door operates manually due to suspect dodgy solenoid.
power steering, alloy wheels , electric heated mirrors, headlight washers . It did have an electric aerial but this no longer works as the actual aerial has snapped , motor for aerial still works.
The car is 18 yrs old and is not mint but is certainly a lot better than some 10 yr old cars I have seen.
The car has belonged to me for 12months and before this it belonged to a friend of a friend who purchased it from an elderly gentleman who had owned it for over 12 years and had kept it very well maintained I have lots of bills and receipts with it.Prior to this it was a company car for three years.
In January this year I replaced the radiator at a cost of £50 as the old one was rotting away and slowly seeping water out meaning a weekly topup.
The car had a new middle piece of exhaust around last December due to the one on it blowing badly, the car has since developed another blow on the flexi pipe due to a small hole but this does not bother me as it is not too bad.
The car does have some surface rust forming on the rear arches but they are easy enough to repair and are not rotted through just cosmetic.
About 75% of the running gear is the same as a Rover 600 so parts are cheap and readily available.
T HE CAR WILL NEED NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE AND ALSO THE NEARSIDE CV BOOT IS SPLIT ,
The drivers door handle has a piece snapped off it but is still useable , a brand new one can be bought for £24 off the net or £5 From a breakers yard if it bothers you, they are same as rover 600.
all in all a great runaround that could be a great car to make mint again over time , you don't see many of these about now.
tax end September, mot mid October , 89,000 miles on the clock which I can prove is genuine.
