Thought I'd post some pics for you all to enjoy, all taken today. speaks for itself really.... ;D The cortina... tatty, ratty, driven every day. 2.1 pinto, kent RL32 cam Like they should be, happiest when thrashed ;D The chevanne, not on the road at the moment (need headlight adjusters for MoT), was 89000 mile ex builders hack when I saved it two years ago, still a 1256, but there's a spare 1740 xflow lurking in the shed...... The capri, my daughters first car, for when she finishes college and passes her test. Got to keep this one standard, for insurance reasons, but its still going to be cheaper than a modern! My bike, 1972 honda CB500 Spike's (mrs Scary...) healey Sprite Somewhere under here is an Eagle RV jeep copy, I cut off the silly arches, fitted P100 wheels and axles, and am planning to paint it green The gimp (actually a chamois FHC) got an alfa boxer in the pipeline for this one........ My P100. One day it will get done..... Recently aquired granada, 3.0 manual, huge wolfrace wheels+big arches, showing some promise!! capri 2.8, mk2 capri 1.6L and somebody left a reliant scimitar..... Mk3 2 door shell, aparrantly not solid enough for the guy who stripped it My sons 126 bis. I get a steady stream of polish immigrants pointing and laughing at it.... poor unloved chevette donor car..... round the back.... I think the yellow mk3 fell out of an aeroplane lol Last one.... on my way out I saw this in a Staff Only bay outside the builders merchants, but who's going to argue???

yeah, its a mk5 (1987) P100 with a Mk3 front end grafted on, its had to take a back seat to some proper work for a while, but will get finished eventually. got 14" wellers for it, and probably going to use a clogne v6 for power, but its a way down the list at the mo.

Very cool goings on.

It can't be healthy, having all that automotive porn in one place! You'll go blind I tells you! ;D Cracking selection there, I am suitably jealous.

In fact I thing you got the eagle RV off a very good mate of mine. Actually, I got the RV out of the scrappy over the road about three years ago when he realized it was plastic and wouldn't weigh in for much.... taught my daughter to drive in it up and down the lane before starting to convert it to more of a M38 lookalike rather than wrangler. It did come fron consett though. You're welcome to pop in for a chat if the gate's open!

I used to have a MKV the same colour as that one on bricks (or whatever) but mine was a 1.6GL not an L. It was my second car when I was 18 (and my mates had 905cc Fiestas) and I loved it. Some curse word nicked it when I'd had it six weeks.
Your pics make me long for a yard instead of a driveway.

The chevette is there for any bits the van needs, they are getting rather scarce, and it was cheap. The 126 is my 10 year old sons, he cried when I wanted to cut it up (two years ago) so I let him keep it. He's learning basic mechanical stuff onit in between using the roof as a trampoline.
Funnily enough, my first car was a beige mk5 cortina as well, but mine was a 2.0 Ghia. 18 years old +100hp pinto + wet road.... surprisingly, someone nicked it after that (not a straight panel on it) so I bought a capri S instead. I don't do front wheel drive if I can help it, tho I'm not fussy which end the engine's at ;D
