 Picked up today... by a friend of me (he is the owner of the body shop that will paint my TL..) ;  a 1969 Bay Window with 58.000kms on the clock. Body is sound apart froma horrendous paint job, car was made in germany , sold in italy, imported to switzerland and is now coming home. As he has a body shop, my friend will restore it as a company car... still the first engine (46 BHP), drum brakes at the front, so a very early bay window.... as he has the time and the money, i am expecting it to be finished in spring... but it was a nice trip to the black forest, and a very new experience, bringing some old car home wothout paying for it ;D |

it will be restored with some minor modifications, it gets the company colours (white/red) and some historic signwriting on it... plans are to use it as a demo car, as they have more and more customers with classic cars... he did a fintail Benz and a W116 S-class this year (as his daily drivers...) , so it's time for some Volkswagen stuff... obviously i infected him with the Type 3 virus too, so could be getting interesting ;D
