I'm not far from Reading, happy to pick you up from any local train stations/coach/bus stop etc..
And to stop any, I'd have this if it wasn't so far away, I'll be happy to arrange delivery as long as a price for delivery is agreed and that's paid for up front.
Goodies included
Ta Technix coilovers fitted - sits nice and low, because its a heavier car this gives a nice ride and isnt harsh bumpy liek coilies are in lighter cars
Leather 3 spoke steering wheel on boss - no idea on make, but has a porsche push button
HID lights, fitted well with Ballast and been through last MOT's with them - 1 headlight has a stone chip but doesnt effect beam
Clear indicators with original amber spare included
tinted side repeaters
Stainless longlife exhaust fitted and tailored to suit the car with twin exit - nice rasp, but not chav loud
7" LCD DVD - MEOS Stereo fitted with built in Sat NAV - Bluetooth - USB - IPOD connections as well as playing DVD's
Fli Subwoofer and amp in enclosure in boot area
Vr6 rear lights and original included (VR6 lights have slight scratches on the corners, but work fine and look better than standards)
Remote central locking fitted with flashing LED - Key also adapted to be like the newer passat with the flip out key from the fob
Rear windows from drivers back all Limo tinted, proper job done too
'ghetto' seat covers - 2 old hoodies over the seats, look cool - will leave em in if wanted
Bonnet and nose can sprayed in Matt black as they were badly stone chipped with a red 13 'ace of spades' emblem
Uprated vented/grooved front brake discs and better pads (stops really well)
New CV gaitor fitted to passanger side
New Rear wheel bearing just fitted to passangers side
Rolling on steel wheels sprayed black with 'steel grey' centres, tyres are all standard sized 185/65/14 and have decent tread, spare needs replacing tho fronts look great, rears could benefit from being banded to fill the arches
Interior spec
Electric sunroof, metal not glass - which has both slide and tilt and works perfectly
Povvo spec windows - which is good as these have a tendancy for the electric windows to go wrong
Blue seats carpet/door cards and lower dash
Black upper dash
Heater works, but selection control doesnt, it does have power to clear front windscreen so doesnt bother me
Engine pulls well and drives nice, slight vibration around 3k from the airbox which sounds in cab, but goes as quick as it comes
I've been putting £40 in and that gets me about 250 miles of A road/town driving - which roughly works out to 30 litres of fuel - which is 6.6 gallons - 250/6.6 equals 37.5 mpg which is really good for a big old bus
Recently had all belts including cambelt changed - but no receipts to back this up
Downsides
Does use a little oil, there is a light puff every now n then from the back, I've covered about 800 miles since last topping up and its hardly moved on the dipstick - after a long drive, when reversing onto the drive I notice the puff and a slight waft of burnt oil
My VW mechanic mate reckons its the start of the valve stems going, he says not to worry about it as he's known these go on for years like it, plus 2.0 8v engines are available on ebay for £65
Accelerator cable is a little sticky/stiff to press, would suggest a replacement, but as soon as your used to its fine and doesnt effect its driving
Few parking scrapes, the worst is a shallow scrape which has scratched paint on the rear drivers side door - not that noticable tho
Couple of scratches here n there
couple of small rust bubbles coming through on rear lower arches, quick fettle should sort them
Little squeak now n then from the front, its either the brakes just catching, r the drive shafts slightly rubbing, there is a slight score mark on the drive shafts, but this maybe from when the po had it slammed too much
Front left catches the arch on big bumps only whilst turning left, straight and right turns are fine
Recently did a long trip up to the gathering and it sat on the motorway at typical motorway cruising speeds with ease and is actually really comfortable - I;d have no issues in driving this anywhere
As said, I'm looking for a T4 panel van and as I havent found one yet, I'm not in a rush to sell this on - although the sooner it goes, the better my budget for a van is..
