Ok, i guess this question has been asked and answered many times before, but i thought it'd be interesting to ask with regards to my current ride, the dull and often forgotten Peugeot 309. Which looks just like this. Not the most retro, or even interesting thing you've ever seen, but its great for lugging band gear around.
The conundrum is as follows: I'm toying with the idea of changing the current 14" steel wheels for alloys. The first solution that came to mind was 205 GTi alloys, specificly the 1.6 versions. But thats a bit predictable, so i got bored of that idea a bit quick. As the PCD is the same as ford i wondered if ford alloys might fit (*starts to wonder if remembered pcd correctly...*) specificly these...
So i guess the bits i really need to know are, whats the difference in centre bore (if any), i'm guessing the offset is different (fwd versus rwd), and would i need spacers or adaptors of any kind.
Also any comments regarding the stupidity of (a) buying a gash/dull 80's eurobox in the first place or (b) the idea of fitting 70's wheels onto a 80's/90's car in a desperate bid to make it more cool, are welcomed.
