Due to recently purchasing a "67 cooper this must sadly go to a new home.
The details
2000 X Reg ford Fiesta zetec S (1600cc)
MOT - 30th January 2013
Tax - 31st October 2012
111k
The car has had very minor alterations
Smoothed bootlid
Smoked and detangoed headlights (100% legal of course)
Lowered -60mm
After market 16" wheels
Now I bought this car as a daily driver, I wanted something a little different from the norm and settled for this. it had low insurance and running costs but carried a sportier badge so ticked all of my boxes. The car has never let me down even over some of my high mileage journeys and has always been on absoloute top form. I know you read it a lot but this car will be sorely missed and if I could find a way to keep it, I would!
The car does how ever have its down points, those are...
The body work of the car is not pristine, as a daily it has collected its fair share of dings and scratches. The bonnet is the worst pannel of all, it appears to have been repainted very poorly by someone at some stage but these can be had preowned for around £50.
ZS fiestas are prone for rusting on the rear arches, some horrificaly. This ZS does have rust on the rear arches but not as bad as most I have seen. This one has started to go in the lower leading corners, they have not gone to bad and will be a relitively simple repair but it is still there,
The exhaust has be patched up at some point but it has never ever caused me any problems and it has no blows of any kind.
The wheels have seen better days and a home refurb would drasticly improve them.
The car is not spotless, it is not a show car, it is a little rough and it would benifit from a little love and attention, this is something I could have given the car but to be honest it never bothered me.
I think that just about sums everything up.
Here are some photos
Here are the arches, most ZS's seem to go along the top of the arch, here you can see all is well.
Here how ever is where the problem is.
I am looking for £650, the car is located near Rochester in kent.
I would be interested in a PX with a decent welder
Any questions please ask.
Thanks
