Today, if the drizzle clears a bit more ( ) I shall mostly be waxoyling the Golf. The kettle is at the ready to keep it as runny as I can... I've got a compressor and spray gun to apply it with and a whole load of sheets to stop the driveway getting covered. Anyone got any handy hints/tips for waxoyling? I plan to get as much as I can into the sills, under the wings, in the doors and tailgate etc etc...

Good luck, hope the rain holds off for you. Not a job I've ever done before so let us know how you get on.

If you can clean the inner arches / back of hinge panel clean to paintwork then do those as well.
Can you get to the top of the inner wings on the Golf?

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

Don't get any on the exhaust or it'll stink when you driving.... or on the brakes cos they won't be as sharp anymore for some strange reason ;D

The smell as it burns off the exhaust is quite pleasant, I find! Good job cos I've just covered most of it... I've done the floor (underneath), rear arches, squirted loads into all the bungs in the sills, tailgate and doors... Done behind the rear valance, the rain tray in the engine bay too. Next I'll take the plastic liners off the front arches and do up there, and maybe some of the trim on the outside and do behind that too... The car looks a right mess, black wax overspray all over it everywhere! Good job it comes off with a WD40-soaked rag
