Hmmm. Gonna need some spectacular rim action to pull it off I think. The slender chrome jobbies are so right on a Viva....

It is a jolly good fit, but if it were me I wouldn't be fitting it in place of the standrd one. Slim, standard Viva bumpers FTW!

A good friend of mine had a Kaddet coupe with full manta kit and it looked pretty good, in the early nineties, I wouldn't do it now if it were mine. Chrome bumpers gets my vote

It needs some thought to make sure it doesn't look like that blue "barry" one but could work with the right paint and rims.

Looks like they may have a chance, if its staying black, and the stance and wheels are right it could well work.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

like pog said it needs big rims and i think it needs 15"s 7 on the front and 9"s on rear!! yes its gonna stay black the paint is finished!! i didnot think i would like it but it is growing on me... and with the whole thing matt black with black wide wellers and a decent amount of power...! I'm liking it now and my bruv is happy and its his car after all! si

It's a surprisingly good fit and doesn't look too bad, but I think that the original chrome bumpers are much more in keeping with the retro/classic look.
As Reanimation says, they would look good if left black, especially if the body colour was a contrasting bright colour. It all depends on what you are doing with the rest of the car.
