just sold my cortina
and am fed up with using the wifes boring fwd vauxhall astray!!
so ive decided to get on with my iveco engined nissan 720 kingcab..
it has been sat for a good 3 years wilst i "get round to it"..
yeah right...
so i thought i better knuckle down and get on with it.
all the suspension bushes brakes chassis and ally tipper bed is done
so only needs:
engine fitting,
a quike once over in regulation matt black,
an interior,
a bit of a tidy up of some wireing etc,
and an mot!!
so this weekend the engine has been mounted up. not the best job really i really should have reshaped the sump so that it sits a little lower as the diff is right in the way!! (typical) but i really don't have the time as in want it on the road and it whould only give another 1" for about 4 hours work so it will stay where it is for now. sod it!! ;D
so i fit a oil filter.
make a few blanking plates etc..
a can of diesel a bit of cranking to get the oil pressure up and yehy it runs!!
next I'm off to the scrappy to find a rad and intercooler!!
sounds nice with 18" of downpipe and no silencer i think..
should i leave it with just a turbo to silence it or maybe just one strait through box??
