Wanted something to tootle round the show on, so I took a look at the pile of tat in the garage, lots of metal off cuts, a lawnmower and a kids big wheel trike were found. Razor scream machine Cut the back off, weld in a honda atc axle and all manner of tiny metal off cuts in random places for no reason to get I need to do something about this as what i've done is a mess and the clutch bell vibrates, but in 2 hours it aint bad. Now this isnt no speed machine, 5-10mph tops cause you know, it is a showground after all. Not started it yet, as I have no fuel, but mostly cause just looking at it scares the curse word out of me... Now useful warnings

I've been busy doing my house up Rian, plus the misses won't let me in the garage!
I'll try and get some fuel later, though I'll be taking the chain off before I start it, that clutch ain't to clever at the min. It was held by a system of bars, bearings and bolts when it was on the mower, but now I've shortened it I need to figure out a way of keeping it on and central.
Plus it needs a heft chain guard, cause that would smart if it came off and had a go at me back/head...

So as its a fixed wheel (1:1 ratio fixed up front - so 10mph will require your legs to go round at 660 rpm, if its a 16" wheel) where will you be putting your feet when the motor kicks in?
Good stuff though.

If that actually took 2 hours, you are a hero Re the pedals: I think you need to sub for some stunt pegs or Boadicea spikes

Its a freewheel so meh J69, I already had the atc axle with a bit of pitbike subframe welded to it, so it was mostly welding that to the trike front end, then mounting the motor, which is already bolted to a metal plate, so just tacked on. Trust me, when you see it you'll def know how long it took! Plus the missus wouldn't allow me any longer to play

Here we go, a look at the underside I welded the angle iron to the trike frame, then to the axle. This worked in tying the two halves together, but it was very flexible side to side, so thats what you can see lots of offcuts of bar to give it some strength...

Well, I finally got some fuel, started the beast up, sat down, throttled up, lots of noise, no movement! The mower clutch just isnt up to moving the trike Had a think, looked around, then threw this together, so I will still have some transport for the showground! What you see here is an ATC70 front and rear end welded to a bent pitbike frame. The steering asssembly comes from the speed machine trike and the pitbike one was fecked. Fuel tank from the mower, engine from a cub 70/90 (its a bit of a hybrid, i forget how now, think its got a 90cc barrell and a 70cc head giving a silly CR) It pretty much is finished, i've welded the bars on in there position and ordered a new front sprocket and throttle cable. Need to sort out brakes though as it should do around 30mph and stopping would be comical without them...
