Up for sale is my rover 214 cabriolet. £550 oVno
mot'd until 27th may 2013, currently sorn.
the car is in very good condition for it's age, there is no rot on the car.
the paintwork is good with only a few minor blemishes mainly just the odd car park knock .
there is only one bit of rust starting to bubble slightly which is about the size of a 5p coin on the edge of the o/s sill/rear arch (pictured).
the cloth interior is in excellent condition with no rips or fag burns.
the roof has only one mark on it, from a previous owner, see photo of mark next to a 10p coin.
the rear window also has a small mark on it, see photo.
we used this car last recently to go on holiday in cornwall and covered 700ish trouble free miles.
I have a folder full of service history, receipts and old mot's.
the original radio is fitted (r660 casstte) which I have modified to also play mp3 from your ipod/mp3 device via a lead as well as still playing cassetes and radio.
the engine hasn't lost any water or oil since the last service so no head gasket problems.
all in all a good, reliable, cheap to run summer car at a bargain price ready to drive away and enjoy.
i've bought another car, one i've always wanted. my wife says 3 cars are too many so one has to go
